Policies
All of the listings within the store are made-to-order and are of a bespoke nature - no items are kept in stock and ready to ship.
Given this, and the customisable nature of all items sold by Olive ark creates returns and exchanges are not accepted.
Additionally, cancellations will only be permitted if your order has not yet been made or printed, or work having begun.
Please contact us as quickly as possible following the placement of your order if you are concerned about us being able to meet your deadline.
Other terms are as follows:
TYPOS AND ERRORS
------------------
Prints, Wedding invitations and cards are all entirely personalised and include a defined proof approval process as part of production.
With this in mind Olive Ark is not responsible for any errors with these items that have been approved by the customer through this proofing process. Moreover, it is not the responsibility of Olive Ark to correct spelling, grammar or punctuation.
If proofs are approved with errors we offer discounted reprints, however we DO NOT offer free re-prints for customer approved invitations that include errors.
For handmade cards that include customisation elements it is the responsibility of the customer to provide Olive Ark with accurate information to print either outside or inside the card, which will be copied and pasted without adjustment. Olive Ark is not responsible for any errors with the final item due to this process.
COLOURING
------------------
Refunds based on colour discrepancies are not accepted. All computers and displays portray colours differently, so whether it's a ribbon colour, cardstock colour or ink colour, the finished item may not match exactly what you see on screen.
For wedding invitations and stationery samples are sent out with some items in standard finishes (including but not limited to belly bands, etc). Olive Ark is not responsible for colour differences perceived on full orders to that of samples. Sample are sent in generic colours and sizing however cardstock finish, colour and also printer calibration will play a role in colours printed. Therefore do not expect your order to match your samples exactly in terms of colour, materials used sizing. Every order is different and every print run calibrated differently. We do not gaurentee colours to match samples and urge all clients not to expect exact matches to their samples, as this is not feasible.
DELIVERY POLICY
UK Shipping
------------------
We use Royal Mail services exclusively for each of our items.
On each listing you will be presented with a default shipping method which can then be upgraded to quicker or tracked services.
Please check each relevant listing for the options available.
Please see below for the delivery aim from date of dispatch as suggested by Royal Mail:
2nd Class: 3 working days
1st Class: 1 working day
International Shipping
------------------
We use Royal Mail International Standard Airmail for all items when shipping internationally
International Standard / Tracked & Signed: 5 to 7 working days delivery aim to delivery port and customs.
Delivery within country is expected to take longer but is a timescale outside of our control or ability to monitor.
For order that are purchased non-tracked please allow at least a minimum of 25 days from the date of dispatch before contacting us regarding a missing item.
Lost / Non-Delivered Items (UK Orders)
------------------
On all items we offer a tracked shipping option; for important items and for those with a sentimental value we would strongly suggest this option is chosen when checking out.
We do not classify an item as lost in the post until 10 working days after the expected date of delivery (please see above for the UK and International expected delivery timescales).
All items are sent with a return address label so in the event of any issues when delivering, we hope to receive the item back from the postal service - this is stipulated by Royal Mail as 18 calendar days from the date of expected delivery
If an item has been lost and in the event that the item has not been returned to us, we will issue the client with a refund providing there are no issues with the address provided to us at the point of order.
Please note that assistance with regards to deliveries is only to be expected when the timescales as stipulated above are met.
In the interim period we suggest the following are checked:
- Order confirmation email for accuracy of address provide
- Delivery to a neighbour
- Previously used "safe places"
- Card left from postal service- Local delivery / sorting office
If the above have been checked by yourself and the number of days passed classifies the item as "lost", then please contact us to discuss potential options. Until this point Olive Ark cannot be held responsible for any potential delay or loss.
